Texan/Mexican Restaurant in the heart of Edinburgh's new town

Tex Mex was first opened in July 1984 and was the first Mexican Restaurant outside of London. It prospered for 16 years till it had restaurants in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Family bereavement and divorce brought this phase to a close.
Now in the late naughties we return wise refreshed and raring to go.

TEX MEX II is born with all the experience of the former Mexs but smaller, cuter and leaner.
We still make the best frozen Margarita's in town. No additives Just Lime Juice, Tequila and Triple sec, the way it was first made 60 years ago!

Donald still runs the place and is to be found there most days.
